The REACH Foundation supports learning experiences in
Arts, Academics and Athletics.
The REACH Foundation's 11th From the Inside Speakers Panel, features 8 outstanding PYL seniors who have been accepted to universities like Harvard, Stanford, UC Berkeley among others. These soon to be graduates will be sharing their lessons learned through PYL to help their younger peers find their own pathway. This inspiring event is scheduled on *Friday, May 31st at the District School Board Conference Room from 6 pm - 8 pm. Save the date!
Get excited for an action packed day celebrating the hard work and excellence of our outstanding Middle School Competitors! This community tradition fosters collaboration between the REACH Foundation, PYLUSD Middle School Teachers and the Yorba Linda High School Track & Field Program. It's a TEAM effort to provide our young athletes with a fun and fantastic experience. Best of luck to all of our student participants as the get ready to leave it on the track!
Each Spring Student artwork from grades K-12 is selected by Teachers to be displayed at the art show Artworks. Many different visual art mediums - watercolor, pastels, ink art, photography, wood, metals and fabric are represented. The creative talent of our students is amazing and inspiring.

The REACH First Lego League Robotics program has expanded from 3 to 7 schools, including Fairmont, Glenknoll, Sierra Vista, Rose Drive, Travis Ranch, Woodsboro and Travis Ranch Middle School. Students from Linda Vista and Bernardo Yorba have also participated in our spring program. Currently, two Explore classes for grades 2-4 and three Challenge classes (grades 4-8) are being offered onsite at Glenknoll, Rose Drive, Sierra Vista and Woodsboro. We appreciate our partnership with PYLUSD and Sunrise Rotary of Yorba Linda to expand these Robotics programs.
Make a lasting memory for your son or daughter ( especially 2024 graduates!), friend or teacher that appreciates the performing and visual arts. A bronze plaque is placed on the armrest of a seat in the PYLUSD Performing Arts Center and/or the Valencia Auditorium.

Inspiring Educators in 2024: $20,000 has been awarded for Educator Grants for innovative projects that enrich teaching efforts and learning activities to benefits PYLUSD students and align to the REACH Foundation's mission and goals.
This program inspires students in Grades 4 - 12 to experiment and grow their confidence, critical thinking, and communications skills through hands-on learning. More learning Labs will be scheduled in Winter 2024 and Spring 2024.

Running Club Sponsorship for Middle School and Elementary School Teams is a great way to show community pride and encourage health & fitness. Our PYLUSD students prepare and train for the 5K or 2K with their school representative. It builds great confidence and camaraderie! The REACH Foundation was granted authority through an application and review process to give out the President's Volunteer Service Award (PVSA) to volunteers.
The President's Volunteer Service Award (PVSA) is beneficial for volunteers, providing formal recognition for their commitment to community service. It fosters a culture of giving back, strengthens college applications for students, and helps develop leadership and communication skills.

Our goal is to support and provide learning opportunities for students in Placentia-Yorba Linda school district with a focus on the underserved and underrepresented youths. We have new afterschool programs this fall through our STEAM Club and are excited to have From the Inside Speaker Series return for it's third year. We look forward to collaborating with community partners to continue to expand our programs and events.
